Rich, indulgent, and beautifully simple. This Basque-style chocolate cheesecake has a deep chocolate flavour with a soft, creamy centre and perfectly caramelised top.

Made with just a handful of ingredients, it’s an easy yet impressive dessert that’s perfect for sharing. 🍫✨

  1. Place a microwave safe container filled with chocolate in the microwave for a minute until melted.
  2. Place cream cheese and 5 eggs into the food processor and whizz until smooth.
  3. Add coffee, sugar, cacao powder and plain flour and whizz again until smooth.
  4. Mix together with a spoon before adding the melted chocolate in and stir.
  5. Line a springform pan with baking paper, pouring into the tin.
  6. Preheat your oven to 200°C and bake for 45-60 minutes.
  7. Turn the oven off and let it cool inside for 15 minutes, then move it to your bench to cool for an hour.
  8. Pop it in the fridge overnight to set.
  9. When you’re ready to serve, unspring the pan and slice the cake.
  10. Serve with fresh fruit on the side and enjoy.
